Ok, about two weeks ago i posted the following on Gumtree:

The whole point was to see whether nice guys do finish last, there are no sexual connotations or lewd lines, just frank honesty. There is, however, a lot of bold statements.
So far I've had 4 responses, all unsurprisingly female and yet also all foreign. The best is a lovely girl called D who did email me daily until yesterday. I asked for her number, no reply...
wonder what went wrong, if anything?
